Maxsur's Wasp lets you hear conversations through walls-- it is ideal for covert surveillance in motels, hotels, offices, and more. It’s also an excellent tactical tool for entry teams during standoffs.
The Wasp's state of the art accelerometers (microphone) amplify micro vibrations, normally undetectable by the human ear, that naturally occur on walls and construction of all types when someone is speaking. In essence, the accelerometers turn ordinary construction into giant microphones. The result is high definition, stereo audio which even enables the identification of approximate target locations.
Each accelerometer has a dedicated audio channel and balance control. A secondary audio output provides for simultaneous monitoring with headphones and connection to common audio recorders for evidence gathering.
Maxsur's Wasp uses 4 alkaline AA batteries for a run time between 80 and 90 hours. Operation is simple and can be learned in minutes. Includes two wall spikes for semi-permanent mounting and molle compatible chest pouch.
